Anti-Rodent Work Plan Undertaken by the Home Affairs Department

全城滅鼠行動

The Home Affairs Department and the District Offices would continue to carry out stepped-up cleaning work at Community Halls/Community Centres/Home Affairs Enquiry Centres and to provide cleaning services to the common areas of “three-nil” buildings where necessary, with a view to demonstrating the benefits of good building management. This will help enhance the overall environmental hygiene condition and alleviate rodent problem. As regards black spots where serious rodent problem could be identified, the District Offices would incorporate pest control clauses into their cleaning service contracts on a need basis and adopt targeted rodent prevention and control measures based on the specific situation of the rodent problem.
