Anti-Rodent Work Plan Undertaken by the Lands Department
To support the Anti-rodent Action 2023 to be launched by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, the Lands Department implemented on trial in mid-December 2022 a measure developed by the Environmental Protection Department, in which land overgrown with weeds would be covered with wood chips for rodent control. Some government sites have been selected for the trail run to test its effectiveness. If the result is desirable, the department would consider implementing the measure in other locations as appropriate.
